Didn't have my pit bull as a breed choice so had to select another breed to even progress. Then the app just kept saying "Updating Firmware" but not doing anything. Also charged it and it kept flashing purple (not one of the colors listed on the instructions). 🤷♂️
Same as everyone else the light flashes purple and the firmware won't update I went to the support site had one guy give me the instructions on what to do tried that and nothing can I talk to human about this problem. It seems pretty common.
Was part of the original GoBone release, app worked okayish back then. Works pretty good now. Dog enjoys the toy. Received great support from the company when I reported a problem with the toy mold.
Since latest update my go bone turned into a no go bone. Removed, reinstalled and still nothing. Boooo my pup is not happy. 25Dec18 update not loading, cancels at 4% and repeats process. I had to delete app.
My lab loves this thing! Easy to connect to and use.
Fails to update firmware. Literally unusable now.
Previously this worked really well. Now I am in the same place as everyone else. It keeps trying to update the firmware unsuccesfully. Can we just have the old version that worked back. My dog misses his favorite $200 toy coming to life.
Like others, I can't even use my GoBone now as the app keeps trying and failing to update the firmware. The device itself keeps flashing purple and has a full charge.
Update: Apparently complaining about the app was a key step to make it work! Also, I went in to my normal Bluetooth menu and paired with the GoBone, then "Forgot" the connection, which seems to have kicked the app out of its stuck state. Original post: My parents' dog loves her GoBone, so my parents got us one for Christmas. I got it all charged up, but I can't get the app to pair. The light on the bone goes steady blue indicating a connection, but the app screen is stuck on "searching." Any recommendations for troubleshooting would be great. I'll update my rating and review once I get it working and have some instructions to share.
After messaging the customer care. Everything started working. They were quick to get back to me for troubleshooting. So glad i purchased it and my dog loves his toy. I would recommend this.
